Julia Post Guenther was born on the island of Chios, Greece, and came to the United States as a toddler with her parents. They settled in California's beautiful Central Valley, where she spent her childhood in the heart of one of the world's most renowned produce-growing regions, surrounded by the natural beauty and hardworking spirit that would later influence her appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design.

From an early age, Julia developed a love for fashion and jewelry. As a teenager, she began collecting vintage pieces, many of which would later inspire and influence her own jewelry designs.

At 19, Julia moved to Southern California after signing a modeling contract. Her career allowed her to travel extensively, deepening her appreciation for timeless design, architecture, fashion, and vintage jewelry from around the world.

After marrying and raising her family, Julia pursued her passion for design by attending interior design school in 2000. While she built a successful career in interior design, her lifelong passion for fashion and jewelry never faded. After years of sketching original designs and refining her creative vision, she ultimately followed her true calling by founding Julia Post Jewelry.

In 2009, Julia officially launched Julia Post Jewelry with a debut collection of 20 original pieces, marking the beginning of what would become an internationally recognized fine jewelry brand. Her work quickly caught the attention of a dress designer, who invited Julia Post Jewelry to style Emily Blunt for the BAFTA Awards red carpet. That remarkable opportunity marked the beginning of the brand's presence on the red carpet. Since then, Julia Post Jewelry has been worn by Angie Harmon, Christine Costner, and Liz Habib of Fox News, among others. Her work has also been featured in Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine, L'Officiel Germany, Riviera Magazine, Newport Beach Living, Modern Luxury, and the Los Angeles Times.

Throughout her career, giving back has remained one of Julia's guiding principles. She has proudly supported numerous charitable organizations, including Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Harvesters, CASA, Oceana, JDRF, The Literacy Project Orange County, and Cancer Teamwork Response.

Julia expanded the brand by opening her store in Los Angeles, Curator LA, and her collections were carried by Barneys New York. Today, Julia Post Jewelry can be found in select luxury boutiques throughout Southern California and is proudly worn by clients around the world.

In 2019, Julia was diagnosed with a brain tumor, an unexpected chapter that pressed pause on both her personal life and career. She dedicated that year to healing, reflection, and recovery. Returning with renewed purpose in 2020, Julia expanded her philanthropic efforts internationally, making several trips to Kenya to help oversee the construction of wells and schools while building meaningful relationships with and supporting the people of the Maasai villages.

Today, Julia continues her commitment to service as a board member of Cancer Teamwork Response, helping those newly diagnosed with cancer navigate one of the most difficult times in their lives. The nonprofit connects patients with leading hospitals, physicians, and resources based on their specific diagnosis, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need.

Julia continues to design each collection with the same passion that first inspired her journey. Alongside her annual fine jewelry collections, she enjoys creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom pieces, each thoughtfully crafted to celebrate life's most meaningful moments.
